Composed of various ingredients like fragrant herbs, powders, and resins; odor emitted out by incense have the ability to facade many undesirable smells. In recent years, the popularity of aromatherapy by burning incense to induce certain moods or state of mind has increased dramatically. It is considered as one of the oldest forms of aromatherapy and has the ability to instantly change your mood and can create a different atmosphere with its soothing fragrance.
Today in every corner of the world, there are many religious ceremonies and rites that respect and employ the burning of incense. It is one of the ancient ritual practices that still persist to present date. A careful study will lead you to understand that flaming of incense has always been the most vital element of various spiritual occasions in many religions around the world. The most interesting fact to note about this act is certainly the aromatic odor that emits out from the flaming incense.
